If the resident is from the local area with a local GP then we recommend the resident maintains their GP. Where a residents GP is not local to the area, we highly recommend they use a local GP while residing with us. Our staff can help to facilitate this. Each resident is visited by their GP within a number of days of taking up residency with us.  GPs will then review residents every 3 months or as often as the needs of the resident dictate.
